With His Multilingual Coverage from Kyiv, AFPC Awardee Philip Crowther Impresses the World

Philipp Crowther, an Associated Press international affiliate correspondent, spoke in six different languages, including English, Luxembourgish, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and German. 

He covers the conflict between Ukraine and Russia in six different languages in a video that has gone viral in Kyiv. 

He shared a video showing all of that coverage back-to-back.

As of early Tuesday, the video had 5.2 million views.

In 2021, Philip Crowther was awarded the Professional Excellence Award by the Association of Foreign Press Correspondents.
