Ken Moriyasu: Bringing Japan's Perspective to International Journalism
On the latest episode of our Foreign Correspondents Talk series, we sit down with Ken Moriyasu, a seasoned reporter and editor with over two decades at Japan's leading financial newspaper, Nikkei, and its English-language publication, Nikkei Asia. With a wealth of experience covering major global beats, Ken has served as a correspondent in cities as diverse as Tokyo, Washington, Cairo, Beijing, Dalian, and New York. Notably, he was also the last journalist to interview Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, a testament to his impactful and dedicated career in journalism. Ken shares insights from his extensive travels and reporting experiences, as well as the unique perspective he brings to international news.
